Potassium amyl/sodium butyl xanthate

Physicals: slight yellow or gray yellow free flowing powder or pellet and soluble in water.

Application: it is used in the flotation treatment of sulfide and multi-metallic ores with good selectivity and better collectivity. It is also applicable as a vulcanization accelerator for rubber industry and the precipitant in wetting metallurgical industry.

Dithiophosphate 25

Major component: Dicresyl dithiophosphoric acid

Physicals: a brown-black corrosive liquid with a pungent odor, density (20°C) 1.17 - 1.20 g/ml, slightly soluble in water.

Principal uses: dithiophosphate 25 combines both collecting and frothing properties. It is an effective collector in flotation of lead, copper, silver and activated zinc sulfide minerals. It is an usually used in the selective separation of lead from zinc minerals. In alkali circuit, it does not float pyrite and other iron sulfide minerals readily. But in neutral or in acid medium, it is a strong and non-selective collector of all sulfide minerals. Because it is only slightly soluble in water, dithiophosphate 25 must be fed in original form to conditioner or to ball mill.

Dithiophosphate BA

Major component: ammonium dibutyl dithiophosphate

Description: white to pale gray powder, odorless, deliquescent in air, soluble in water and chemically stable

Principal uses: Dithiophosphate BA is an effective collector of silver copper, lead, and activated zinc sulfide minerals, and is used in the flotation of iron sulfide activated. It is also useful in the flotation of nickel and antimony sulfide minerals and is especially useful in the flotation of nickel sulfide mineral with low flotation, property mixture of sulfide oxide nickel ores and middling ores of sulfide and gangue. Some investigators have found that Dithiophosphate BA is helpful in recovery of platinum, gold and silver. This reagent has exhibited weak frothing property

Dithiocarbamate ES

Main content: sodium diethyl dithiocarbamate

Description: white to slight gray yellow flowing crystallization or powder forms, soluble in water and decomposition in acid mediator solution.

Principal uses: it is an effective collector for copper, lead, antimonite and other sulfide minerals with better collectivity than xanthate and dithiophosphate. If it is used under high alkali conditions, it can improve the separation flotation effect between lead and zinc with little or without cyanide. This reagent is also used for rubber vulcanization improve agent.
